Runaway Allie Cat is the retelling of Allerleirauh. It isn't a common tale, but I wanted something different. It is the story of a princess who runs away in disguise, from home to escape her father and his crazy idea to marry his daughter. Along the way, she meets her prince.
In my book, it is a stepfather because let's face it, the Grimm tales are a little dark and twisted.
