ReplyDeleteThis is Gillian's debut Novel and I absolutely loved it. Allie is on the run from her stepfathers henchmen and needs a quick escape. Her only escape is jumping on the back of a gorgeous bikers bike. Sparks fly, they both have their secrets and he thinks that she is too young. Will they overcome this or go their seperate ways? You will have to read it yourself to find out. I am super excited for the characters in the next story and I can't wait to read more from Gillian!!!
For a debutant, the author has done well. We are brought on a journey where we meet many lovely characters. Each play a certain part in Allie's life. Its people I would love to meet. Chase is a biker you want to have for yourself after you have slapped him for being a jerk. Allie is innocent but has strong core. Hot blazing chemistry, adventure & emotions. Certainly enjoyed it.
ReplyDeleteIf there’s one thing I love its a good motorcycle club romance. This is Gillian Grey’s debut novel and I thought it was done so well. I was hooked by the end of the prologue and could not stop reading until the very end. I really love the writing style and the suspense buildup was perfect. There is a huge family and I thought they were introduced well and the world building was good. While this is a standalone not everything was solved (no major cliffhangers though) and I can’t wait to see those conclusions in later books.

ReplyDeleteI love the storyline and I couldn't put it down! This was my first book by this author and I loved it! I can't wait to read more of her work!!
It had some of everything and gave me all the feels! There was action, a bit of suspense, angst and some delicious steam!!! I loved Allie and Chase! Their chemistry was undeniable and hot!!!
The ending was perfect and I cannot wait for the next story! I hope we see more of Allie and Chase.
Have a tissue handy but do not read in public as chortles will ensue from this fast-paced adult survival chase involving a positively creepy stepfather, trafficking, and motorcycles that takes an extremely long day to finish, so better to plan on two days instead. I had an ARC via Bookfunnel and this is my voluntary review.
ReplyDeleteI loved this book! I never heard of the princess Allierl??? before and had to look her up because this retelling was so beautifully crafted. I fell in love with Allie and Chase. I highly reccomend the novel and look forward to see more from this new author.
ReplyDeleteThis debut author has blown me away. I know this was a retelling, but the plot was very strong for an action romance. The heat level was spicy and just as exciting to read. I felt the ending might have been a little stronger but am dying to read the next book!
ReplyDeleteThis is a debut from this author, and she has done an incredible job in weaving this storyline. Allie has been kept isolated by her powerful and obsessed stepfather, who is a mafia man, and when he states on her 18th birthday that they are to marry, she runs. With her stepfathers’ henchman on her tail Allie turns to an MC for help, and Chase comes to her aid. When Chase returns to his club he does not recognise Allie without her disguise, and the sparks fly between them. This is a well written story which has secrets, suspense, danger, intrigue, family, tension, action, emotions, romance, and love, which leads to a riveting and addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author in the future.
